Private Training
Private Training Starts With the Athlete
Private Training isn't Speed School with fewer people in the room. Speed School follows a shared twelve-week curriculum. Private Training starts somewhere else: with your athlete, and whatever they're actually working toward.
How Sessions Are Built
What It's Built Around
In Private Training, your athlete's goal decides the plan — not the other way around. There's always one main focus, and it's common for a session to support more than one goal at the same time: speed development, say, alongside the strength and power that speed actually depends on.
That focus comes from conversation, watching your athlete move, and what we continue to learn as they train — not a test on day one.
Depending on the athlete, Private Training might center on:
These aren't separate services to pick from — they're examples of what a plan built around one athlete can actually include.
Finding Your Fit
Who This Tends to Fit
Private Training tends to fit athletes who benefit from one coach's full attention throughout the session — watching, adjusting, and coaching in real time, for one athlete at a time.
That's a different setup from Speed School, not a better one. Speed School and Private Training are two different environments built for different situations — choosing one over the other isn't a statement about how serious or advanced your athlete is. It's just about which setup actually fits right now.
Looking Ahead
Not a One-Way Door
Starting in Private Training doesn't lock your athlete into it. Some athletes stay in this environment for as long as it keeps making sense for them. Others move into Speed School later on — not automatically, and not because Private Training didn't work, but because a coach and a family agree, together, that a group environment fits better at that point.
Athletes change as they develop. It makes sense that the environment that serves them best might change too.
